terms and conditions

1. Acceptance of Proposal
1.1 The Quotation provided is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. To proceed, please sign and return one copy of this Contract to our address. No Contract is in place until we acknowledge the order.

1.2 We will rely on the written terms set out here. Read them carefully before signing. For explanations or amendments, contact us at the provided address or telephone number.

2. Our Obligations to You
2.1 We will perform the work with reasonable skill and care according to the timetable agreed in the Contract. The goods supplied will:

  • Be of satisfactory quality;

  • Be fit for purpose; and,

  • Operate as described.
     

2.2 We will supply goods and perform installation work as specified in the Quotation timetable. Any changes to the timetable will be discussed and agreed upon in writing.

2.3 We will communicate and perform work according to the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, providing:

  • A detailed Quotation with itemized goods and services;

  • Information on necessary permissions and financial incentives;

  • A right to cancel the Contract within the "Cooling Off Period";

  • Accurate and truthful information.
     

2.4 At the end of the Contract, we will provide guarantees, test certificates, and other relevant paperwork within seven days of completion.
 

3. Your Obligations to Us
3.1 Deposit
You will pay a deposit, not exceeding 50% of the total contract price, upon signing the agreement.
If the contract is canceled within the Cooling Off Period, the deposit will be refunded in full.

3.2 Advance Payments
A further advance payment may be required no more than three weeks before the delivery or installation date, not exceeding 70% of the total contract price. Payments will be used solely for the installation and purchase of goods.

3.3 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due upon completion and commissioning of the installation. Failure to pay may result in interest charges and suspension of work.

3.4 Consequences of Late Payment
Interest of 3% above the Bank of England base rate may be charged for late payments. Work may be suspended if payment is not received within seven days of the due date.

3.5 Return of Goods
In case of contract termination, you must return goods purchased with your money. Failure to do so may result in legal proceedings.

4. Your Other Obligations
4.1 Permissions and Approvals
You must obtain necessary permissions and approvals before work starts.

4.2 Supply of Services
You agree to provide water, electricity, storage space, access to your property, and removal of belongings at no charge.

4.3 Preparatory Work
You or a contractor must complete preparatory work before installation starts. Any delays may incur additional costs.

4.4 Additional Charges
Breaches of conditions may result in additional costs and reasonable compensation.

5. Delivery, Title, and Risk
5.1 Delivery
Goods will be delivered to the location specified in the Quotation.

5.2 Title to Goods
Legal title to goods purchased with your money will pass to you upon delivery or storage.

5.3 Early Termination
If the contract is terminated, goods must be returned, and reimbursement will be provided for any goods purchased with your money.

5.4 Maintenance of Goods
Until ownership passes, you must maintain goods in satisfactory condition.

6. Change of Work
6.1 Changes to the work after signing the contract must be agreed upon in writing.
 

6.2 Adjustments to the price will be made for changes in work.
 

7. Unexpected Work
7.1 Costs for unexpected work will be detailed in the Quotation.
 

7.2 You will be informed of any unexpected work and asked how to proceed.
 

8. Changes to Agreed Timetable
8.1 We will make every effort to complete the work on time. Delays may occur for reasons beyond our control.
 

8.2 Delay Caused by Us
You are entitled to compensation for significant delays within our control.

8.3 Delay Caused by You
Delays caused by you will result in price adjustments.

9. Cancellation of this Contract
9.1 Your Rights
You can cancel the contract within seven working days by sending written notice.
You may cancel for serious delays or breaches of our obligations.

9.2 Our Rights
We may cancel the contract for serious breaches of your obligations.

10. Conciliation and Arbitration

10.1 Disputes can be referred to conciliation or independent arbitration as per the Renewable Energy Consumer Code.
 

10.2 The conciliation service aims to resolve disputes non-legally within a reasonable timescale.
 

10.3 Independent arbitration is legally binding and enforceable, with a process described in the Renewable Energy Consumer Code.
